I was born in a working-class neighborhood of Bogotá, Colombia, the son of farmers and artisans. Since I was little I have had a natural pull toward creating new things, and that is what drove my learning all the way to the world of Bitcoin.

With a background in electronic engineering and a constant self-taught curiosity, I learned to work with IoT technology, which in turn led me to a new world where massive data capture forced me to master new technologies, and I became a data scientist specializing in machine learning and deep learning. Then, looking toward a new world of knowledge, and with something that has always been with me, "critical thinking about how the social system works", I began studying philosophy, geopolitics and economics. At this point in my story I fortunately stumbled upon the disruptive technology known as Bitcoin, and I have spent the last decade digging down the rabbit hole, understanding its philosophical, mathematical and economic foundations and all the computing concepts behind it.
