About ISMOS

Our story

Librería de Satoshi was born in 2021 with a simple premise: technical knowledge should be accessible to everyone, in their own language, not just to those who can read technical English or pay for expensive courses.

In 2026, Librería de Satoshi becomes ISMOS. The name changes. Our beliefs and values do not. From our roots in Latin America, we are opening up to the world, with more languages, more disciplines, and one goal: to train one million developers.

ISMOS in 80 words

ISMOS (formerly Librería de Satoshi) is a global technical education ecosystem and developer pipeline for Freedom Tech and open source. Since 2021, it has reached more than 3 665 people in 40+ countries. ISMOS teaches in Spanish, Portuguese, and English, with more languages on the way, and offers mentorship and fellowships that keep education accessible.
