ONG Bitcoin Argentina and Librería de Satoshi present B4OS 2025, a free technical training program for software developers. The initiative aims to bring Latin American talent into the global Bitcoin and open-source software ecosystem, offering advanced training, international mentorship and job opportunities in high-impact projects. Applications are open until October 15, 2025 at b4os.dev.

ONG Bitcoin Argentina and Librería de Satoshi announce the launch of Bitcoin 4 Open Source (B4OS) 2025, a free, online technical training program that seeks to empower developers in the region to join the global Bitcoin and open-source software community.

The goal of the initiative is to open up access to international job opportunities for Latin American engineers and programmers, driving their participation in strategic projects such as Bitcoin Core, the Lightning Network and applied cryptography development.

“Much of Bitcoin development is concentrated in London, New York and San Francisco. Librería de Satoshi was born to expand the participation of Latin talent, offering world-class training, mentorship with international experts and paid professional opportunities,” said Dulce Villarreal, CEO of Librería de Satoshi and director of B4OS.

From ONG Bitcoin Argentina, executive director Jimena Vallone said: “Bitcoin is built collectively; at the NGO we support B4OS to empower those who develop in the region. We want more professionals to have opportunities to innovate and scale ideas that strengthen the ecosystem.”

The program has a comprehensive three-phase curriculum:

• The Code Challenges (45 days): progressive programming challenges and personalized guidance.
• Level Up Your Skills (2 months): seminars and masterclasses on Bitcoin architecture and open source.
• Build Your Portfolio (2 months): direct contribution to critical projects with international mentorship.

In addition, B4OS includes Hacker Residencies in cities around the world (Florianópolis, Mauritius, Guadalajara and Valencia, among others), where participants work alongside leading figures from Bitcoin Core and the Lightning Network with all expenses covered.

In its 2024 edition, B4OS transformed the careers of dozens of developers. “Today many of them work full time on open-source projects. It’s impossible to take part without learning something new every day,” said Federico “Fox” Zupicich, the program’s director.

Key benefits for participants:

• Full-time or part-time grants to build on Bitcoin.
• Remote job opportunities with salaries in Bitcoin, USD or local currency.
• Expenses covered to attend international conferences.
• Integration into a global network of open-source developers.

Application requirements: at least 2-3 years of software development experience, knowledge of C++, Rust, Python, Go, Scala, C or C#, a genuine interest in contributing to the Bitcoin ecosystem, and availability of 5 to 10 hours per week in an online, asynchronous format.

Applications will be open until October 15, 2025 at b4os.dev. The program, which began on September 16 with its initial phase, is completely free for participants.
