Personal Disclaimer. I am Argentine, director of the B4OS program, educator at Librería de Satoshi, board member of ONG Bitcoin Argentina (2025/27 term) and, with the same pride, a River Plate fanatic. All passions I carry in my blood alongside Bitcoin.

At Librería de Satoshi, our mission is almost an obsession: making high-quality technical education about Bitcoin accessible to everyone. We are the most important Bitcoin technical education institution in the Southern Cone and, although that fills us with pride, we know we cannot be physically everywhere. That is why we believe in the power of alliances. We join forces with local giants like ONG Bitcoin Argentina to amplify our reach and grow together, side by side.

ONG Bitcoin Argentina is not just an organization; it is the heart of one of the most vibrant regions of the bitcoiner world. Since its founding in 2013, this group of pioneers has worked tirelessly to unleash the potential of Bitcoin and distributed ledger technologies in every corner of Argentina.

The NGO’s mission is as clear as it is powerful: to spread the knowledge and adoption of decentralized technologies. Its vision is ambitious and necessary (believe me, they have been more than living up to it): to be the meeting point for all of us who believe in free money and in a technology that gives us back our power.

Educating for the Future: The Seed of the Revolution

The heart of ONG Bitcoin Argentina beats to the rhythm of education. Its focus is not just teaching, but breaking down myths, tearing down the barriers of complexity and making Bitcoin a tool within anyone’s reach.

Among its most important banners flies the “Schools and Bitcoin Project”, a free training program that goes straight into classrooms to talk with teachers and students. The goal is clear: to open young people’s eyes and show them the universe of job and development opportunities this ecosystem has to offer.

But the educational mission does not stop there. The NGO weaves strategic alliances with universities so that Bitcoin resonates in higher education. And for those who want to go further, the Diploma in Bitcoin, Cryptoeconomics and Law is a deep dive into the regulatory, economic and philosophical framework that sustains this revolution.

Supporting Those Who Build: Block by Block

Beyond educating users, the NGO rolls up its sleeves to strengthen the foundations, being a key ally of Librería de Satoshi and B4OS.dev.

The NGO’s work is to boost the outreach of the “Bitcoin 4 Open Source” (B4OS) program, to make sure the opportunity the program offers to support and fund the ecosystem’s builders reaches talent across the whole country. This initiative is pure fuel for the Bitcoin engine: it funds and supports open-source developers working on the infrastructure we all use, recognizing the immense value of open source work.

Building Community and Culture: The Flame That Unites Us

Bitcoin Argentina’s work overflows the classrooms and the code. The organization is the life of the party, the engine that creates and strengthens the country’s vibrant bitcoiner community. Through events, talks and conferences, they spark debate and the exchange of ideas.

Events such as LABITCONF, the longest-running Bitcoin conference in the world, the federal tour Descentralizar, with three dates in the interior of the country, along with the 21 MeetUp and the iconic Bitcoin Pizza Day, are true celebrations where enthusiasts, developers, entrepreneurs and investors come together. They are much more than education and networking; they are living proof that Argentina is an innovation hub making a strong mark on the global scene.

Nothing like art to spread an idea with force, and with the “B·Arte Award” contest it encourages artistic creation inspired by Bitcoin technology. This year it is looking for dreamers to build a monument to Satoshi Nakamoto in Buenos Aires, a tribute to the anonymous creator who changed everything.

Legal Advice: A Shield Against Scams

In such a new and sometimes wild territory, the NGO offers vital support: the Initial Legal Guidance Clinic. A free service that acts as a compass to navigate the regulatory framework and, above all, to protect the community from scams and fraud.

ONG Bitcoin Argentina is, without a doubt, an unstoppable force. Its multifaceted approach is building the foundations of a freer, more transparent and more decentralized Argentina. As the Bitcoin flame grows, the role of organizations like this one is more crucial than ever to guide and empower an entire society in the new digital era.
