2025 Wrap-up

At Librería de Satoshi we believe that learning Bitcoin is not just understanding a technology, but opening a path toward freedom and autonomy.

Librería de Satoshi: A year of building together

At Librería de Satoshi we believe that learning Bitcoin is not just about understanding a technology, but about opening a path toward freedom and autonomy. We design courses and workshops so that anyone, from beginners to advanced technical profiles, can understand the fundamentals, the philosophy and the practical tools that sustain a decentralized economy.

Our mission is clear: to offer accessible education and close support, so that everyone can validate, protect and use their own tools without relying on intermediaries.

The year now ending was one of growth and consolidation. We added new educational offerings, grew the community and supported hundreds of people on their path toward self-custody and a deeper understanding of Bitcoin and Lightning. Every class was an opportunity to learn together and share real experiences.

What we achieved in 2025

Bitcoin education with real impact

  • 939 enrollments in courses
  • 322 graduates, with over 75% attendance
  • 40 countries.
  • 27 courses, 99 classes and 15 educators

Dark world map with orange outlines and lightning bolts marking the countries reached by the courses, concentrated in Latin America, Africa and Europe

From self-custody and privacy to Lightning, Nostr and real tools from the ecosystem. Learning Bitcoin is learning to take charge.

From learning to building

With B4OS we went beyond courses:

  • 300+ applicants
  • Coding challenges as a real technical filter
  • 17 Spanish-speaking developers now actively contribute to open source projects

Training builders is not about passing on theory: it is about supporting real processes and building alongside others.

Presence and recognition in the ecosystem

Throughout the year we took an active part in more than 10 international conferences and events, sharing technical work in more than 25 talks, learning and strengthening the global Bitcoin network:

  • Oslo Freedom Forum - Oslo, Norway
  • Bitcoin Global Summit - United States
  • BTC++ Lightning - Florianópolis, Brazil
  • BTC++ Lightning - Berlin, Germany
  • TabConf - Atlanta, United States
  • Accelerating Bitcoin - Asunción, Paraguay
  • LABITCONF - Buenos Aires, Argentina
  • Adopting Bitcoin - El Salvador
  • BitCoast - Pichilemu, Chile
  • Btrust End of Year Events and African Bitcoin Conference - Port Louis, Mauritius

These spaces were key to making the community’s work visible, exchanging lessons and continuing to build technical recognition.

Technical community and BitDevs

We believe Bitcoin is understood and built as a community. That is why we promoted and supported BitDevs meetups and technical spaces in:

  • LATAM (online)
  • Argentina: Buenos Aires and Córdoba
  • Chile: Santiago
  • Mexico: Mexico City and Guadalajara
  • Spain: Madrid and Barcelona

These meetups made it possible to deepen knowledge, debate technical proposals and connect developers, educators and students across different regions.

Technical results

Steady work and a focus on fundamentals translated into concrete results:

  • 1st place: MIT Hackathon
  • 2nd place: BTC++ Hackathon
  • 2nd place: Chaincode Warnet Hackathon
  • We took part in Time2breeze with the incentives wallet; results come out in January.

Proof of work, put into practice.

Ecosystem and partnerships

None of this is built alone. We especially thank B-Trust and Fundación Bitcoin Iberoamericana for their financial support; Chaincode Labs for their technical support with the coding challenges; BTC++ for creating community spaces; and finally ONG Bitcoin Argentina for standing with us every step of the way, along with other communities in the Bitcoin and open source ecosystem for making our message stronger. Thank you to all our friends and to every member of the community for being part of Librería de Satoshi and for continuing to decentralize Bitcoin Open Source Development.

Looking ahead

This year laid solid foundations. The next one will bring more technical depth, more open source contributions and more real opportunities for those who decide to take Bitcoin seriously.

We close the year with gratitude and open the next one with enthusiasm.
